I strongly believe that in order for a client to select the entertainer that is a perfect fit, it is vital that they take the time to get to know them. With that being said, this is how I began my career as as Wedding Entertainment Professional. 

I've always been a creative person. I was looking for a career that I would absolutely love, and one that would allow me to look forward to going to work every day. I also knew that I wanted to find something that would allow me to combine my passion for music, as well as a love for entertainment in general. 

I had a friend who owned and operated a small mobile DJ business, and after spending some time with him during the summer of 1998, I went out and helped him with a wedding, and that is all that it took! That night had literally sealed the deal on what my next move was going to be. I began creating my business plan, purchasing equipment, and in May of 1999 Absolute Sound DJ Entertainment was born. 

It was a very exciting time for me as I began establishing my company.  In September of 2001, I hit a milestone in my life, when I married the love of my life, Heather. In June of 2002 (you can do the math on this one)! we welcomed our daughter Katelynn into the world, and our family was complete (with the exception of a few small dogs, Rocky - a miniature dachshund & Miley - a Maltese).

Since that time, I've continued growing Absolute Sound DJ Entertainment into a very successful Wedding Entertainment business. In the spring of 2007, I took a very important step in elevating Absolute Sound DJ Entertainment to the next level, and made the decision to make entertaining my full time career. As far as my business is concerned, it was the best decision that I could have made,  as doing so has allowed me to be able to devote more of my time and attention into helping my clients create their perfect wedding and reception.   

_ I'm a founding member of the Central Kansas American Disc Jockey Association, which is a local chapter of the American Disc Jockey Association and have served on the board of our  local chapter since it's inception in 2005. As an association, one of our focal points is working to educate other DJ's to help them elevate the level of service that they provide to their clients, as well as to operate their business in an ethical manner to better serve their clients. 

Each year, I also attend several national wedding entertainment seminars such as the Mobile Beat DJ convention, and along with local chapter board members, we have produced a number of local Wedding & Entertainment seminars in order to continue to serve not only the clients of Absolute Sound DJ Entertainment, but anyone who may be getting married both now and in the future.
